| Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church. Built in the 1890s as St Joseph's Catholic School and converted to a church in 1937. In 2000 there are still some former pupils alive. In October 1984 I remember the great Belgium Cardinal Leon Suenens celebrating mass in the church one Sunday. Charles Phillips | ||
