Ernest Shuttleworth

Ernest Shuttleworth was a Private who enlisted in the 2nd Batt. Norfolk Regt at Warley in Essex. He was the son of John and Sarah Barrow Shuttleworth, who lived at the Bungalow, Padhams Green, near Brentwood, Essex.
He died in Mesopotamia 30th June 1916 he was 22 years old.
The Basra Memorial bears the names of more than 40,500
members of the Commonwealth forces who died in the operations in Mesopotamia from the Autumn of 1914 to the end of August 1921 and whose graves are not known
