Harry Keeling

Research has shown that S and H Keeling are one and the same, having both been killed on the same day....
The Keelings have been in and around Stock for many generations. He was the son of Peter and Mary Ann Keeling who lived in Gooseberry Green,Billericay. He came from a large family. Harry was a member of the New Zealand forces, having belonged to the Otago Regt.
He was killed 7th July 1917 near Messines and has no known grave and is remembered on the Messines Ridge (N.Z.) Memorial, he was 32 years old.
