Additional information: 16th Baron Petre. Son of the late Philip Benedict Joseph Petre, 15th Baron Petre; husband of Lady Catherine Margaret Petre (now Lady Rasch, of Ingatestone Hall, Essex).
The 16th Baron Peter was my grandfather, son of the 15th Baron and Julia Mary Cavendish-Taylor. He was born 3rd November 1890 and became a Captain in the Coldstream Guards. He was wounded near Arras in the late Spring of 1915, was repatriated and died of his wounds in September leaving two children, one born posthumously. Source Lord Petre
