Charles Fullbrook

Charles Frederick Fulbrook enlisted in the Essex Regiment 1st Batt, in London. He was born in Paddington, London and at the time of the Great War he was living in Billericay, and his parents Frank and Rose were living in Danbury, Essex.
Charles, a Private was sent to Gallipoli where he was killed in action and has no known grave and is remembered on the Helles Memorial. he died 2nd July 1915 aged 24.
The Helles Memorial stands on the tip of the Gallipoli Peninsula. It takes the form of an obelisk over 30 metres high that can be seen by ships passing through the Dardanelles.
